Paul Point was born in Poets’ Corner, Croydon, and on his 30th birthday featured in Poetry Rivals’ Top 30 UK Writers. He is a writer, reader, chocolate eater and artistic director of The Chocolate Poetry Club, London. He’s made appearances at The Royal Albert Hall, Tate Modern, Althorp Estate, Field Day Festival, Neverland Festival, Lambeth Country Show, Brockley Max and Camberwell Arts Festival amongst others, with writing published by Amaryllis, Angry Manifesto, Forward Poetry, I am not a silent poet, Nutshells & Nuggets and more.

He has led creative writing workshops at Althorp Literary Festival, Clapham High View Primary, Bournemouth Emerging Arts Festival and has hosted events across the south of England. He is known to share stages with the likes of Joelle Taylor, Ross Sutherland, Anthony Anaxagorou, Rob Auton and Mark Grist. Insightful yet fierce, passionate yet measured with intimate accessible writing.
